If you are a new user and you have a large collection of  movies, eXtreme Movie Manager can help you adding much of it in one time.

You have 3 possibility for do it, depending on which support you have used to store :

1) Mass TITLE Add

This is useful if you have your movie on the VHS (it's an example!), and you want add all in one passage : just write all the title in the textbox like in the picture:



when you have finish, press the "Add All Movies & Exit" and eXtreme Movie Manager will automatically add all movies in the Database.

IMPORTANT : You have the possibility to fill fields that are common to all movies : for example, if you add all your "Horror" collection, you can write to the field "Category" this, and eXtreme Movie Manager will set all movies like Horror.

2) Mass FILES Add

Use this mass Add if you have much movies stored on your Hard Disk : You can scan it in search for Movie Files, and after automatically add it on the database with already Codec Information readed! :



Additionally the MD5 hash key can be calculated for all selected movies, but therefore you have to take into account that this procedure is very time consuming. When you have Scan HD for files, you can add ONE Movie for every selected files, or Add all selected files to only One Movie (If it has more than a file!)

3) Mass CD Add

The last possibility is for people that have their collection stored on CD : in that case eXtreme Movie Manager will simply ask to change the Compact Disk on your CD-ROM... it will read the Codecs and add the movies automatically to your Database.



STEP 1 :  you must select what kind of files are stored on the CD, the engine will read only the type you specify.

STEP 2 : If you want, eXtreme Movie Manager can fill the CD BOX ID for you; you must specify the start number, and it wil increase it automatically., You must also specify the DRIVE LETTER! Be sure to set a valid CD Rom, and not the Hard Disk!

PRESS START BUTTON : now the MASS add will start, the engine will OPEN THE CD-ROM for you and will wait for a CD : DO NOT CLOSE THE CD-ROM BY YOURSELF! simply insert the first CD and press OK.

When the engine has finish, it will EJECT the CD and wait for the next one :



PRESS "YES" if the next CD that you will insert contain a NEW MOVIE : the engine will save the information about the last Movie and will create a new ONE.

PRESS "NO" if the CD that you will insert contain another part of the SAME MOVIE : the engine will read the information and will add it to the previous Movie.

PRESS "CANCEL" if you have finish to insert CD and you want STOP : the engine will save the information of the latest movie inserted.

If you want start to insert CD again, you must close the EDIT WINDOW and open it again for reset the Engine.
